MAVERICK ROAD TRIP - Megan Rutgers, an incoming freshman at Minnesota State University, Mankato, and her father, Ryan, rode their Harleys from Tyler, Minn., to this week's opening summer orientation session for first year Minnesota State Mankato students. Riding motorcycles since she was 14, Megan made the 120-mile trip from Tyler on a '98 Harley Road King. Her father joined her riding a 2005 Harley Electra Glide. Megan has logged about 3,000 miles on the Road King including Poker Runs and a trip to the Sturgis Bike Rally. However, dad said she probably won't be bringing the bike when fall classes begin.
