The students at Lafayette Charter School raised $1,106.89 for the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society during a "Pennies for Patients" fund-raising drive that took place January 31st – February 8th.  The students participated in dress-up days through out the weeks, and were challenged to reach a school-wide goal of raising $780.00.  After reaching their goal the students earned a sundae party and had the opportunity to dump a sundae on a student council member's head.
